Why on earth would I keep it? Especially since I’d have to keep paying to be able to use it-and what use is it to me now? It’s not like I need a souvenir of their incompetence. As soon as I’m satisfied that I have no more need for the LP account, I’ll be deleting it-assuming I can. I’ve already moved my vault to, and am changing passwords with, Bitwarden, so there’s no need for me to keep an account I can’t trust in the first place. I’ll only add that this post is about deleting *accounts*, not vaults, because people are done with LastPass, which is a somewhat different matter. It’s simple logic, and a refusal to allow for these people ever to screw up our data like this again. Why any of this seems to be difficult for you is beyond me. To do so is just setting ourselves up to have to go through all this again after the NEXT breach, and at this point, assuming they’re even able to stay in business after this, there’s little question there will be another. But leaving our info with people who’ve proven they cannot handle the ONE JOB they are paid (by us) to do, is foolhardy given their history. Why on earth would we allow our vitalm sensitive data to stay on their servers? Yes, someone has copies of our vaults from previous dates, and there’s nothing we can do about that except the aforementioned changing of all the passwords. They are always the ones having security issues, and now a lot of us are spending our Christmas holidays changing every password we have (in my case, about 1000), which is not exactly what we planned to be doing with this time. I, and many others, no longer trust LastPass. If you're a Starter, Team, or Business plan member, choose whether you import your data to your Personal or Business Space, and then select Next.I’m honestly baffled by your bafflement.
